The 2022 BMW R nineT Scrambler is powered by an 1197 cc air/oiled-cooled, twin-cylinder, four-stroke Boxer engine. It is mated with a central counterbalance shaft, dual camshafts, and four radially arranged valves. The Boxer engine delivers up to 109 horsepower and 85 lb.-ft. of torque. The emission control comes from the closed-loop three-way catalytic converter, and the mixture control is electronic port fuel injection. This combine will launch the 2022 BMW R nineT Scrambler to over 124 miles per hour. The gearbox is a constant mesh six-speed with helical gear teeth, and the clutch is a hydraulically operated single dry plate clutch. The standard on this heritage bike is BMW ABS Pro.
